Background

For thousands of years people have been entreated to see that “ Justice be done to widows, orphans and the poor” and since 1997 Australia Help has been doing just that. Australia Help was born out of a need, which is very evident in the Australian community today and has various thrusts into the community. Australia Help is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and strict “confidentiality.” is maintained.

 

Australia Help is dedicated to “Helping the Disadvantaged People” in Australia.

 

Australia Help , since the beginning of 2007, has been involved and has been developing co-operation with other Non Profits organizations, partnerships with and working with other Community organizations who are actively working in the Community, to make a difference in peoples lives’ throughout Australia.

Australia Help is a company limited by guarantee established under and in all respects complies with the Corporation Law of Australia. It is governed by its constitution and has a board of directors who are committed to helping the disadvantaged people in Australia.

 

Australia Help has “ TCC” status which means it is:

• Income Tax Exempt
• GST Concession
• FBT Exemption

 

 

Australia Help is registered as a Public Benevolent Institution and therefore has Deductible Gift Recipient ( DGR) status which means it is entitled to receive tax deductible gifts and give receipts for gifts over $2.00.
